Hydra

The little town of Hydra, located on the car-free island of Hydra, is beautifully situated at the foot of the hills. The little harbor is very plesant and popular. Hydra is often referred to as the ‘ Saint-Tropez of Greece’, the town has developed itself into a fancy and favorite seaside resort with equally charming shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. Fun factoid: the National Academy for Marine Officers is located near the harbor .

Up to the hills, close to the town, are 2 monesteries that are worth visiting. Along the coast, at the foot of the hills, you will find a nice scenic route with spectacular vieuws, not to be missed, especially by night!
